THE VOICE OF THE BLOOD.

The blood of Jesus Christ
Pastor Gitahi Daniel, CFF Donholm.

●Jesus is God’s son of promise. His very precious blood, that was shed on the cross for the remission of sins, stands for the new covenant between man and God. In the old testament, the law was the covenant but God renewed it in the new testament through the blood of Christ. Shedding blood is very instrumental as it marks a covenant/agreement. For instance when the israelites were required to smear blood on their door posts just before the exodus, it indicated the covenant between God and israel, not to strike the Israelites’ firstborns as He did with the Egyptians.

Jesus as the son of promise.
The incident where God required Abraham to sacrifice his son isaac, actually signified the shedding of the blood of Christ Jesus to come. We were only saved because of this very spotless and blameless blood (1 Peter 1:19.) It is the foundation of grace.
The main difference between the blood of man and the blood of Jesus is in Gen 4:10 and Heb 12:22-24. In the former verse, God speaks to Cain about the blood of his brother Abel crying to Him from the ground while in the latter, the word says that the blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel. Therefore,
• The blood of man cries but the blood of Jesus speaketh.
•The blood of Christ stands for the new covenant between God and man.
• Abel died a forced death. Christ died willingly.
•In the new testament, the blood cries for remission of sins. In the old testament, the blood cries for revenge.
•Abel’s blood cries for revenge while Christ’s blood cries for remission of sins.
•Abel’s blood polluted the ground. Christ’s blood is preserved in heaven.
It saves, it delivers. It protects. It heals

  • The blood of Christ is the centre of the gospel no wonder praying by the blood is very effective as long as one is living holy. It is rich enough to pay the debt of sin. It is also powerful enough to crush the devil.
Learn to plead and speak the blood of Christ that saves, heals, delivers, offers divine protection etc over your life in prayer. By so doing, you speak the covenant. The kingdom of darkness is much aware of the power in the blood of Jesus. They will do anything to stop believers from having the knowledge why it is important to use the blood in prayer.
Remember, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Hebrews 12:24

•1 Peter 1:18, Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

SPIRITUAL CHECKUP

KAVOD VS ICHABOD

By Pastor Gitahi Daniel

• Spiritual checkup is examining oneself to see whether they are still in faith. On this episode of spiritual checkup, we look at Kavod vs Ichabod Christian.
Kavod, Doxa in greek means the weightier presence of the Lord/ the brilliant radiance of the Lord.
Ichabod means the glory has departed/ God’s presence is no longer part of.
In Spiritual checkup, believers need to evaluate/examine themselves in seven ways, the seven Ts.

The seven Ts
1.Transform me God. (2nd Cor 3:18
2.Teach me Lord. (psalms 119:12 )
3.Train me Lord.
4.Test me Lord.
5.Touch my soul
6.Think of me
7.Trust me Jesus
As a believer, can you ascertain that God’s presence is still with you? Have you allowed God to transfrom you? Can He testify that the seven Ts are evident in your life?

The ark of covenant
Why did the Israelites follow the ark of covenant for 7 days when going round the wall of Jericho? Why did the wall of Jericho fall? In Heb 9:4, the word states that the ark of covenant contained
Three major things:
1. Aaron’s rod that signified authority. 2. Manna that signified miracles.
3. 10 commandments that signified covenant between God and the house of Israel.
• The ark of Covenant stands for (kavod) the glory of God. The Israelites therefore, had to carry with them God’s brilliant presence and authority for the walls of Jericho to literally ‘obey’ and go down. The walls of Jerìcho ‘saw’ the AUTHORITY, the COVENANT between God and the children of Israel and the MIRACLES.
• River Jordan was overflowing when the israelites came to cross during the exodus. When the 12 Levites, carrying the ark of covenant (the glorious presence of God) set their feet in river Jordan, its waters parted immediately. Again, the waters could not stand Kavod.
• When we check our spiritual lives, we have to check whether we are fully in the presence of God. What happens when a believer sins is that, the presence of God departs (ichabod) while whoever does not sin, has the glory of God (kavod) with them. This means they have authority, are in a covenant with God and have miracles following them whenever they go.

Three stages of ichabod (departure of God’s presence)
Wither. In this stage, the believer starts shrinking spiritually.
Dry. If they do not address the problem when in the first stage, withering graduates to spiritual dryness.
Die. Eventually, the believer dies spiritually. God’s presence departs from them completely.
Rev 2: 5, Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

• In 1 John 3: 6-9, we are reminded that we cannot continue to sin if we are truly born of God.This means that the Glory of God remains in us and we cannot have it depart unless we give in into sin.
• A lamp stand in place in the life of a believer is the ark of covenant. It carries authority, covenant and the miracles of God. A true believer manifests the glory/weightier presence/brilliant radiance of God.

TOOLS USED BY SATAN TO ATTACK BELIEVERS. (6Ds) Part 2

Pastor Daniel Gitahi,

We pick up on tool no.5 and 6 that satan attacks believers with. Incase you missed out on the first four tools, check the very last post on this site. Please subscribe to our wordpress blog site, donholcff.home.blog, and receive notifications every time we upload fresh content. Be blessed always!

Tool no.5: DELAY – To delay is to make something late or slow. Many believers’ are going through hardships as a result of slowed down lifestyles. There are six types of delay.
Divine delay- brought about by God for one to gain spiritual maturity. God deliberately slows you down from getting to your destiny so that you can be moulded into what He desires. God wants to demonstrate His power in our lives and also build our faith. He wants to glorify Himself through our situations, eg the situation with Lazarus in John 11: 5- 6, Jesus heard of Lazarus’ illness but stayed two more days in the place where He was. He only went to see Lazarus when he was already dead. For the reason that He loved Lazarus, it was expected that He would rush and heal him, only for Him to visit Lazarus’ family when Lazarus was dead and in the tomb. God glorified Himself by raising Lazarus from the dead.
Satanic delay- State of slowing down.
Is a situation where one finds it difficult to excel. One is usually bound by the enemy so as not to get to their destinations. It produces the spirit of struggle, hardships and sorrow. Satanic delay is an invisible spirit that shutters one’s vision into pieces and renders one’s dream invalid. Many believers have been bound by the enemy and their destinies have been diverted as a result.
Inherited delay – situation where all or most members in a family do not prosper. Their achievements are minimal and limited. This trend goes on and on.
Environmental delay – you find that a certain area or location, is under the influence of territorial forces that slow down people’s visions living in the given geographical area. For instance, you could find that in a certain area, there is a tendency of women having children out of wedlock. Most people in such places have been misplaced.
Programmed delay – brought by a personal physical enemy for reasons such as jealousy.
Personal delay – brought about by actions, mistakes and eras made by individuals in their personal lives that slow them down. For instance in decision making, one could choose a situation over another that has delayed consequences.

Tool no. 6: DEFEAT
Defeat is failure to succeed or win. Many people are unhappy because they are living defeated lives.
Signs you are living a defeated life:
1. Lack of excitement. A defeated life makes you grow unhappy and sad. Been happy does not mean that everything is going on well, it means one is content and undefeated.
2. Comparing yourself with everyone around. One loses focus of their vision, is always complaining, thinks and bears negativity in all of their situations.
3. A defeated believer has no answer to whatever is going on in their life. If defeated believers were challenged to describe themselves, they would either have nothing to say or just demean themselves.
4. You hate yourself. There are people that just feel undeserving and unworthy, others go through this phase when going through challenges in life. One ends up locking themself in a cocoon of self pity.
5. You feel like you are lying to everyone. A defeated person always feels like thay are not been honest even when they are. They are usually not sure or confident of what to say or do.
In 1 cor 15: 57, the word says that God gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
6. You don’t know who you are anymore. You dont have a goal. Isaiah 32:8, Noble people make noble plans and by their noble deeds, they stand.
7. Talking a lot about other people.
8. Looking back more than often. You look onto past failures limiting your growth.
9. You dont sleep well at night. While God gives His beloved sleep, a defeated person is usually restless in bed.
10. You are too much about what people think about you. You care too much about what others have to say that it affects how you live. If you must succeed you must not give an ear to people’s opinions.
11. You hold onto grudges more than you should. You dont let go the wrongs done to you.
12. You talk a lot about people and less about the things that really matter.

On the cross, Jesus became a sin, a curse, poor and sick so that we never have to live in sin, live under curses, be poor or even sick. Are you under any attack? Claim your position now in Jesus’s name you are meant to be FREE!

TOOLS USED BY SATAN TO ATTACK BELIEVERS. (6Ds) Part 1

Pastor Daniel Gitahi,

1. Deception – influencing somebody into believing a lie. It is the act of hiding the truth inorder to get an advantage.
John 8:32 (you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free)
2. Doubt – not having confidence in something. The devil has managed to put doubt into believers’ minds, they find themselves not having full confidence on the existence and the power of God.
Matt 21:21
3. Diversion – turning something aside from its course. Many people have been turned from their God given destinies by the devil, and have resulted to living lives that are not theirs. Heb 12:16-17 > Esau’s destiny was diverted when he sold his birthright to his brother for a meal.
Joseph was in a situation where his destiny or his God given purpose was almost diverted, Potiphar’s wife asked to sin with him and as he eluded her, he left his garment behind. Joseph said NO to the moment meant to detour his course. The truth is, many believers have been diverted/ turned aside from what they were truly meant to be in life.
4. Discouragement – feeling of despair in the face of obstacles/challenges. Bartimeus in the Bible was calling upon the voice (God) while everyone else was discouraging him (making noise.) He increased his voice and deliberately ignored the noise.
God is the voice. The devil is the noise. In the current life, there are noises of debt, lack, struggles etc that are discouraging believers from their real courses, they have therefore abandoned the voice. Peter (Matt 14:29) was discouraged by the wind and doubted whether he would really walk on water. Between you and your destiny there is a wind/storm (noise) that is set to distract/discourage/divert you from your journey. Focus on the voice (God) and ignore the noise (satan)
Philippines 4:13, Matt 14:25- 31, Matt 6:34

MEDITATION:

Meditation is focusing ones mind on a particular object, thing or activity for a period of time. Biblical meditation is focusing one’s mind on the word of God.
• The first altar is always in the mind, Prov 23: 7 (as a man thinketh so he is.) You will find that what one thinks of hard and long, eventually comes into effect. Take for instance, a thought on getting married, if one does not get their mind off that thought, they will end up married regardless of who they get married to. This is because whatever is conceived in the mind and is given space to grow finally comes to be.
• Negative thoughts (negative meditation) produce negative results. This is because what one thinks manifests in how they live. Thinking positive bears fruits.
• The word feeds meditation, meditation feeds prayer. What you meditate on eventually becomes your character.
• Those that dont read the word often, are shallow/thin/weak spiritually and their prayers are not necessarily fruitful since the Holy Spirit dwells where the word of God richly dwells. In Acts 2, the disciples of Jesus would often read and analyse the word. What we take in by the word, we digest by meditation and let out by prayer. Our minds have to be fed with the word of God for us to let it out through prayer. We therefore, have to balance the word and prayer.
● Psalms 19: 14 (let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.)

●Thomas Watson once said “The reason why our prayers are not effective is, we dont meditate before praying. The reason we grow cold from reading the word is we dont warm ourselves at the fire of meditation. “

Benefits of Biblical meditation:

1.When you meditate, you become sensitive to the Spirit. You are able to listen and hear the Holy Spirit.
2. You create an atmosphere of peace, that reduces worry and anxiety. It is the right attitude to coexist with others. True meditation attracts other people to you.
3. Your mind is transformed, to always think about God, think about His word and hear Him. True meditation influences someone into not taking offence when offended.
4. It increases faith.
5. Brings God’s goodness.

Christian guided meditation is helpful in keeping one’s mind from wandering.

THE PRAYER OF FAITH

Pastor Daniel Gitahi,

“But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he exists and that he is a rewarder of them that seek him earnestly” (Hebrews 11:6). Biblically, there are 9 types of prayer one of which is the prayer of faith.
At times, we pray without faith, leaving many frustrated when they don’t obtain the required results. We must understand that faith is a vital element in a believer’s prayer life. Faith is believing that God will accomplish what you’ve prayed for.
It’s faith that causes us to move from one level to another. Moreover, faith goes hand in hand with prayer and righteousness. A faithless, righteous believer can’t receive from God but only a prayerful, righteous believer with faith can expect results.
The likes of Elijah prayed earnestly and witnessed results because he combined it with faith in addition to being a righteous man (James 5:17-18). The following are the 4 key elements of a prayer of faith.

  1. It must be effective
The term “effective” means to be successful in producing a desired or intended result. Some believers pray but their prayers aren’t effective. These kinds of prayers don’t produce any results. We pray mostly because we want results.
  2. Fervent
The word “fervent” means to boil in Latin or glowing; intensely devoted, or earnest. Being fervent means showing great emotions or zeal. You might be a righteous believer but if you lack zeal in prayer, don’t expect to produce any results. Therefore, lazy believers receive nothing.
It’s also important to bear in mind that if you’re a sinner, your prayer goes nowhere. John 9:31 clearly states that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will.
  3. It avails much
Availeth means it’s a beneficial prayer. We must be willing to stir up our spiritual life with prayers for the fulfillment of our destinies to take place. In 2 Timothy 1:6-7 Paul tells Timothy to stir up the gift of God. As such, we must be burning believers.
Beware of “burning” versus “freezing” believers. The former type is prayerful and fervent while the latter type is those who are “quenched.” 1 Thessalonians 5:19 warns us against quenching the Spirit’s fire.
Similarly, Leviticus 6:13 urges us to keep the fire of the altar burning. You’ll know you’ve quenched the Spirit if you’re no longer as active as you used to be in the things of God. For instance, you used to preach or camp in the church but no longer do so these days.
Burning believers have a breakthrough in prayer and they pray nonstop. It’s no wonder the likes of James acquired the nickname “camel knees” due to his devotion to prayer.
  4. It should be earnest
Elijah prayed earnestly; seriously; with sincere and intense conviction. Earnestly means to stretch forth or prolong. As believers, we must be serious in prayer. Moreover, our prayers should be nonstop to avoid loose connections. Instead, your prayers should be “express.”
Are you a prayerful, righteous believer with faith? Your prayer should comprise these 4 elements if you’re to succeed. Live holy! Christ is coming soon for a blameless church!

SIGNS OF THE RETURN OF CHRIST

Pastor Daniel Gitahi:

“Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:17). As we continue pressing on in our walk of salvation, we must understand that the end is nearer than we think.

Beware that there’ll be an invite in the air but only for those of the day, not darkness (1 Thessalonians 5:5-6). As children of the light, we must understand the time & seasons. Take note that from the creation of the world to the period of Noah was 2,000 years. In addition, the period between the times of Noah to the birth of Jesus was 2,000 years.

As such, we’re living in the last days, which Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24 where he foretold war, pestilences, earthquakes, etc (24:7). The end of the last 2,000 years falls between 2020 and 2027, during which time anything could happen, including RAPTURE! Watch for these signs of the Return of Christ.

  1. An increase in crime

In these last days, we’re witnessing increased incidences of crime as Jesus foretold in Matthew 24:12. Such incidences aren’t merely happening locally but worldwide. Consequently, we’re seeing an increased prevalence of wicked acts such as murder, rape, etc.

  1. Breakdown of families

Divorce rates are continuously increasing in society and many have grown weary of marriages. Again, this situation isn’t limited to our country but worldwide. Many have even left their marriages, citing all kinds of reasons for doing so. Regardless of the reasons, single-parent families have increased worldwide.

  1. The love of God is growing cold

These days, people no longer go to church as they used to. Instead, they would rather spend time on their daily affairs instead of seeking God. In the past, people were zealous in the things of God. These days, people no longer prioritize the things of God. Instead, worldly desires have taken the place of God amongst believers.

  1. Hypocrisy in Religion

“…having a form of godliness but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:5). In these last days, many believers are in church but are full of hypocrisy. Some even come to church pretending their relationship with Christ is good yet they’re fornicators; adulterers, etc.

Even some Pastors are hypocritical in these days; they engage in ungodly behaviors in their private lives. In these perilous times, some Pastors are even officiating unbiblical marriages in different parts of the world. We must realize that titles mean nothing. Rather, character is everything

  1. Alignment of Nations

“For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom” (Matthew 24:7). In international news, Russia, one of the world’s superpowers, has deepened its ties with Iran while allying against the U.S.

If you’re keen on what’s happening, you’ll see that we’re headed towards the 3rd World War with Israel being the center of the battle. Therefore, it’s time to stand for your salvation and know your position. We’re the final church and Christ is returning any time! We’re waiting for the last end-time prophecies to take place: the Anti-Christ and the 3rd World War.

  1. Outbreak of Pestilences

In Matthew 24:3 Jesus foretold the occurrence of pestilences, which are taking place in various parts of the world today. For instance, the outbreak of African swine fever occurred in Bulgaria two weeks ago, affecting 25,000 pigs. Similarly, there’ve been outbreaks of chicken flu in different parts of the world. Back here, we’re also experiencing a locust problem.

This is the year of preparing for Christ’s return and mending our ways with Him! Where will you be upon His return? Christ is coming soon for a holy & blameless church! Live holy!

END TIME SIGNS: Invasion of locusts, rumours of war and the current events

Pastor Daniel Gitahi :

We are living at a time when we should be watchful of what is happening around us. The invasion of locusts in African countries such as Eritrea, Somalia and now Kenya is an END TIME sign. In Exodus 10, God sends Moses to Egypt to deliver the Israelites and tells him to perform 10 miracles. One of those was the plague of locusts that devoured everything there was in the land. However, Pharaoh still hardened his heart; refused to let the Israelites go.
• The invasion of locusts signifies JUDGEMENT. God is judging the nation of Kenya for the widespread wickedness; in leadership, the Government, Churches etc… The truth is there is so much sinning today, people are doing unspeakable things and still serving at altars that bear God’s Holy name. God is about to send Revival this year that will expose falsehood in the Churches. There will be a clear distinction between God’s true servants and those that are defiled.
• Matt 24: 6- 8, Jesus foretell of wars, rumours of wars, pestilences, epidemics and events that will happen just before the end. Globally, there has been remarkably unusual events that have occurred we should not ignore, here is just a few; On Jan 2nd, 25,000 turkeys died due to a severe bird flu in Poland. In Dec 2019, 6,000 people succumbed to measles in the republic of Congo, in a span of 3 months, Brazil has lost half a billion bees, while in Australia, half a billion animals have died from widespread bushfire that was so unmanageable even after the intervention of other nations.
• In Matt 24: 32- 34, Jesus reminds us to be watchful and mindful of seasons and times (lessons from the fig tree.)
• Rev 9: 1- 11 compares a war that will come in the end to locusts. These locusts will be demons sent to torment people without the seal of God. Thankfully, the Church will have been snatched. Will you be here or gone home? The invasion of locusts in our land currently, only means that Jesus’ second coming is almost here and third world war is looming. It is time for believers to really know where they stand. Jesus is ready to take the Church home, the angels bearing the trumpets are ready and so are the saints in Heaven. The only thing is for God, the father to issue the COMMAND.
• If we did some calculations on the same; Jesus was born in 6 B.C. (6 years before the current 2000 years we are in)
• It has been 6000 years from the creation of the world to now. (2000 from creation to the time of Abraham, 2000 from Noah to Jesus and 2000 from the time Jesus was born to now) Clearly, a major event occurs every 2000 years.
• No. 6 stands for man while no. 7 is the number of perfection. God created Adam in the 6th day and rested on the 7th. Jesus ascended into Heaven at the age of 33. If we minus the year when Christ was born from the age at which He ascended to Heaven we get 27.( 33-6=27) The year 2027 marks the end of 2000 years since Jesus was born.
• Anything, including rapture, can happen between now and the year 2027, the end of this generation (Matt 24:34.) This is the predicted time for massive changes to happen including the NEW WORLD ORDER (nwo) that the United Nations says will take effect fully from the year 2030. It is possible that the 3rd World War will happen somewhere between the year 2020 and 2030, hence the no. 666 will possibly take full effect by 2030…..NB: the new world order was started by the secret society.
• Time to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, stop the games and focus on Jesus. Is your house in order? The end is here.

Sermon by Pastor Gitahi Daniel, CFF Donholm!

SEVEN THINGS THAT MAKE US STAND FIRM AGAINST ATTACKS

Pastor Daniel Gitahi:

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).
As believers, we must beware that there’s a spiritual realm. Therefore, we must be spiritually alert and identify the schemes the devil uses against us.
Even 2 Corinthians 2:11 warns us “not to be ignorant of the devil’s schemes.” Numerous attacks await believers and if you’re not watchful, you’ll fall victim to his schemes. If we’re to stand firm against the devil’s attacks, we must apply these spiritual tools and use them to our advantage.

  1. The power of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Power; our helper. We must desire to be full of the Holy Spirit like Stephen (Acts 7:54).
  2. The armor of God
As believers, we must keep in mind that we’re facing a spiritual war and the devil will use whatever schemes to bring us down. Therefore, the rulers of darkness won’t wait for you to be ready for their attack.
Therefore you have a responsibility to be prepared always because the “devil prowls around looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Ephesians 6:11 further urges us to, “put on the full armor of God so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes.” Any time you sleep spiritually, beware that the devil will seek a point of contact with you.
  3. Prayer
The Apostle Paul reminds us to “pray continually” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) because he understood the power behind prayer and how crucial it is in our spiritual lives. Numerous biblical instances reveal how prayerful Jesus was (Matthew 26:39; Matthew 26:44; Mark 14:32; Luke 11:1).
As believers who follow the footsteps of Jesus, we must adopt his prayerful character. Bear in mind that there are numerous kinds of prayer. We must strive to offer a prolonged, boiled prayer and follow the likes of Elijah (James 5:17-18).
  4. The Word of God
“For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to dividing soul and spirit…” (Hebrews 4:12). Remember, the Word yields faith in our lives according to Romans 10:17, which states, “So then faith comes by hearing the word of God.”
  5. The Power of Praise
Many of us don’t know that there’s power in praise and every believer’s tongue should be full of praise for God, not men. There are various ways of praising God, including song; offering, etc. Paul and Silas reveal how powerful praise can be, especially amidst adversity (Acts 16:25-27). Others however; do the opposite. They murmur and complain instead of praising when they find themselves in a prison of lack, shame, etc.
  6. Faith
Faith is one character of the Holy Spirit. Without it, you can’t please God (Hebrews 11:6). The likes of Elijah were men of great faith who knew their God and position. As a result, they earned recognition as elders of faith. 1 Kings 18:16-45 reveals his unwavering faith that led to his victory against the prophets of Baal.
  7. Blood of Jesus
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11). When you plead the blood of Jesus, it fights for you.
Are you spiritually alert and ready to stand firm against the devil’s attack? Be on your guard. Live holy!

THE BATTLE WITHIN

Pastor Daniel Gitahi

As believers, we constantly have to deal with the inner struggle/battle, which is the most dangerous because the outer battle is easy to win. For this reason, we must be spiritually alert and beware of the tactics the devil uses to try to outwit us.
1 Peter 5:8 urges us to be self-controlled and alert because the devil is always prowling around looking for someone to devour. Remember, the devil attacks us in the spirit and will try to prevent you from going deeper into seeking God. Here’s what we need to bear in mind concerning the inner battle.
• The inner battle emerges whenever you start seeking God
You can identify an inner struggle for instance when you begin praying. In this instance, you’ll suddenly start yawning or grow weary for no apparent reason. When this happens, you automatically lose focus and the desire to seek God as planned in most cases.
The same thing usually happens whenever we purpose to read the Word of God. Bear in mind that when you yield to the devil’s tactics, you’ll ultimately lose the battle and will probably backslide if you aren’t watchful.
• The battle within fights our destiny
God’s ordained purpose over Moses’ life was for him to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. However, God told him that he wouldn’t enter Canaan (Numbers 20:12).
The battle within Moses was anger, which followed him until the time of his death. In fact, Moses expressed his anger towards God in various instances. The battle within is what prevented him from enjoying the good of the land and fulfilling his destiny.
Furthermore, the very same spirit of anger resulted in the tussle between archangel Michael and the devil over Moses’ body (Jude 1:9).
• The devil follows you with whatever you left behind
Before accepting Christ, each one of us had a stronghold and the devil uses it against you when you purpose to seek God.
Consequently, the battles of prayerlessness, anger, etc resurface when seeking God. Remember, whatever you left behind still exists in the spiritual realm, so demons carry that spirit to try to restore it in your life.
• If you rebuild what you destroyed, you prove to be a transgressor (Galatians 2:18)
If you revert to old habits such as lying, anger, etc, you’re a transgressor before God. For this reason, you must deal with your stronghold(s), otherwise, you’ll enter marriage or the workplace with it. Keep in mind that you can only reap what you sow.
• The devil uses this battle to delay your destiny
The devil is always against God’s will in your life, so he’ll do whatever it takes to prevent God’s will from prevailing in your life.
Are you losing the inner battle? Remember, you became a son when you accepted Christ, so you have the power to overcome and win the battle! Live holy! Christ is coming soon for a blameless church!
