DEMONIC INFLUENCE.

The word demon comes from greek word “Daimon” which means evil spirit. It is mentioned 75 times in the new testament.
Demonic influence is the ability by demons to affect others or events.
They influence through;
– Diseases Matt 12:22
– Acts if divinations Acts 16:16
– Unusual physical strength Mark 5:3
– Unresolved anger and bitterness.
Just to mention a few.

There are SEVEN deadly demonic entities that are incharge of the seven deadly sins.

1. SATAN; Influences believers and people in general to be proud and exhibit prideful nature.

2. BEELZABUB; The demon of envy. Influences believers to be jealous of others achievements.

3. DEMONS OF WRATH; 1 Peter 5:8
If you are unable to control your anger you are under the influence of these demons. We can be angered; it just should not be for long.

4. ABBADON ; Demons of laziness. They attack the mind so that a believer grows lazy and does not work. It is both physical and spiritual.
If you find that you are unable to pray even after setting prayer alarms, you could be under an attack.

5. MAMMON ; Demon of uncontrolled and excessive love/greed for money. Some believers are unable to even pay tithes and give offerings because of this demonic influence.
Others do not think twice in taking shortcuts – compromising God’s standards – because of money.
It is an altar in the spiritual realm. The corruption, prostitution, murders exploitation of public funds etc, that we experience in the world today is all influenced by these demons.

6. GLUTTONY ; gluttony demons attack believers so that their eating habits get out of control.
If you are unable to fast, you could be under the influence of these demons.

7. DEMONS OF LUST (ASMODEUS); They drive uncontrolled sexual desires into people.
There are people that do not have self control as far as sexual urges are concerned.
This spirit pushes people into masturbation, self satisfaction, fornication, adultery, rape etc.
Imagine a situation where a father desires and rapes their own child; this is a clear indication that they are not in their right minds. The demons of lust drive men there.

Demons throw fiery darts/missiles to humans and we must know how to deal with these arrows.

Nobody is immune. We have to spiritually alert always.
